Lady Strikers and Parents,
We want to thank you for the dedication you have showed thus far to helping our team prepare to be competitive at U10 region and eventually State levels. Mandolin and I have talked ongoing and feel that with all we need to learn to come up to speed prior to Fall Season, the girls are progressing quite well.
The following is the upcoming schedule for the next 6-8weeks of play, along with the skills we need to work as a team in practice and individually, to prepare for fall season.
We will also begin to populate our facebook page (“Strikerscb”) and our blogspot (www.strikercb.blogspot.com) soon with relevant information for fall pre-season/season.

Some have inquired today about the weather, and I will just tell you that I will hold practice in the rain just as the competitive soccer leagues will require us to play in incremental weather. I will notify you all when practice is cancelled, typically when there is snow on the ground preventing the ball from rolling, or when there is a lighting storm occurring. My intent is only to help the girls deal with the reality of playing games in the incremental weather; please talk to me if you have any concerns with my approach.
Jon Auger’s (Paityn Auger’s Dad) U14 Girls Strikers JA team is playing in a friendly tournament this weekend at Cherry Farms Park in South Weber (Where we hosted tryouts). I will be attending and watching the 6:30pm game on Friday, I encourage any girls and families that want to watch a U14 girls team play to join us, it is great for the girls to see a few levels up and get perspective and new skills in mind. The informational flyer is attached with map to his house for indoor.
For the eleven (11) team members playing in t the park city tournament, I need $50.00 for that tournament, and $40 for the Strikers Tournament. Please get me the money at your earliest convenience , and make the $90.00 check out to “Strikers”. For the two girls unable to attend the full Park City Tournament, I need $40.00 for the Strikers Tournament. Right now we are looking at playing our friendly games on Saturday at 11:30am, this may change to an earlier time in the future, but is subject to the availability of the other team. I will keep you informed as I organize the Saturday friendlies in the coming weeks.
I have talked with a few of you that prefer to keep practice from 6:00-7:30pm because of your work schedules and that works great for Mandolin and I, so after tonight, practice is back to 6:00-7:30pm.
